ZeroCalm.com - Never Satisfied

My musings primarily on technology with a focus on digital forensics, open source software, and my deep, unhealthy hatred for stubbornly apathetic (l)users and supporters of bad technology. You'll also see the occasional post about my non-digital life which is primarily comprised of my relationship, various sports I play and watch, family, alchohol and food.

ARSTechnica's August Ars System Guide

ArsTechnica is a wonderful technology and hardware review site. They periodically publish their system guides, in which they aim to build three computers, component-by-component. They build a "God Box" that even people like me can't justify buying but still enjoy drooling over, a "Hot Rod Box", which is more up my alley, and a "Budget Box" that would satisfy most sane computer users and even many gaming enthusiasts. Here is the main link to their Ars August 2005 System Guide.

Eventually, I'll get around to including my blogroll (list of links to sites that I visit frequently) over there on the left side of my blog, but feel free to check it out now.
